Please – please note this is not me telling you what to do with your body. It is however me telling you why I am not getting the vaccination, Instead I am working on my immunity and what I can do to be as healthy as possible with the time I have remaining on earth.

I’ve already gotten the two injections back in March. Ultimately you have to do what you are comfortable with. I think that living in a less densely populated area may make this an ok decision for you. Getting the vaccine made it possible for me to travel this year. It did me immeasurable good to spend time with my daughter’s family. I’m still wearing my mask and in fact here in Tampa I’m one of the few wearing one when out running errands. I will continue to do all the precautions I implemented last year with the exception that I am not locking myself down. I am trying very hard to not be judgemental about others choices. But from a Public Health perspective in a largish city it’s difficult to honor people’s decision to not vaccinate . This is part of my eternal struggle and lesson and really has nothing to do with your choices. It is my sincere hope and desire that you and Robert do not get sick and I *feel* like you won’t. I know you are doing extensive research and I trust you to do what’s right for your self. Much love to you, Kate
